atNorth brought together its global team in Helsinki for a companywide retreat combined with the launch of a new data centre. The event was designed to strengthen internal relationships, align teams around shared goals and provide space for connection and reflection, while also marking an important milestone in the company’s growth. Alongside the internal programme, the brief included hosting invited guests for the data centre launch as part of the wider schedule.
Chill Out! was appointed to plan and deliver the retreat from end to end, including venue sourcing, accommodation, multi-location logistics, creative programming, production support and offsite events.
The programme combined two distinct elements within a single schedule: an internal company retreat focused on connection and alignment, and an external facing data centre launch. Both needed to sit comfortably alongside each other without one overshadowing the other. Logistically, the event involved multiple venues across the city, each with different requirements, capacities and technical considerations. Movement between locations needed to be carefully planned to keep the programme running smoothly while maintaining a relaxed and engaging atmosphere. The challenge was to deliver a structured experience that still felt natural, well paced and enjoyable for all attendees.
Drawing on extensive experience of delivering international retreats, Chill Out! developed a clear programme structure that balanced content, movement and downtime. Venues were selected to support each part of the experience, with Clarion Helsinki Hotel hosting the core retreat programme and providing a central base for meetings, presentations and accommodation.
Clear communication, detailed planning and onsite coordination ensured the retreat programme and the data centre launch could run in parallel while still feeling cohesive, with movement across the city carefully managed.
Production and technical delivery supported presentations and group sessions. Chill Out! coordinated AV, staging and room layouts to ensure clarity and consistency, while creative elements reinforced the sense of occasion. The team building activity at the Olympic Stadium encouraged collaboration, and the gala dinner at Valkoinen Sali Helsinki provided a relaxed and celebratory close to the day.
