Broadcom partnered with Chill Out! to deliver Activate in Amsterdam, bringing together 400 delegates from partner organisations alongside Broadcom’s senior leadership for a multi-day training and networking programme. Designed to keep partners up to date with Broadcom’s product portfolio, the event combines technical training, certification exams, executive meetings and networking opportunities across a number of venues.
Chill Out! coordinated the planning and delivery of the event, creating an effective learning environment while ensuring delegates and senior stakeholders enjoyed a consistent experience throughout.
Delivering a programme of this scale required careful coordination across multiple venues, meeting spaces and supplier teams. As delegate numbers continued to increase, the original room layouts had to be redesigned to maximise capacity while maintaining an effective environment for both training sessions and certification exams.
Alongside the technical programme, executive meetings and evening events also required careful planning, ensuring delegates could move efficiently between sessions while every element of the event operated smoothly.
Chill Out! managed the delivery of the event in the Amsterdam Marriott Hotel and the nearby Clayton Hotel, coordinating eleven meeting rooms, onsite registration, branding, signage and AV requirements across a varied programme. Working closely with venue teams and production partners, the event spaces were adapted as attendance increased, allowing Broadcom to accommodate additional delegates while maintaining the quality of the learning experience.
Away from the training programme, Chill Out! coordinated a series of networking events, including exclusive dinners at the Rijksmuseum and in the Café Americain, part of The Clayton Hotel. These featured live entertainment and cocktail making and gave delegates valuable opportunities to build relationships outside the conference environment.
Throughout the programme, the Chill Out! team remained onsite, coordinating suppliers, supporting delegates and responding quickly to changing requirements, ensuring the event ran smoothly from start to finish.
